WPShell replaces Window's Program Manager (ProgMan). Templates, notebooks settings, and many of the other features that OS/2 users love. Be careful, though... you may forget you're using Windows! This application is meant demonstrate the features of the O/S 2 Warp Workplace Shell, on a machine running windows 3.x or windows 95. You can replace your current shell (Progman or other 3rd party shell) with The Workplace shell. Workplace is extremly functional and well written, the "desktop" contains right mouse click|drop down menus everywhere, drop & drop is supported throughtout the shell, and the responsiveness is extremely robust. Notes: To install run SETUP.EXE. This version (v1.50) differs from the v1.51 release only in minor details in the README.1ST. The v1.51 release also includes some unpacked copies of OS/2 Warp bitmaps. There are no functional differences at all.
